The Sumner County Sheriff's Office, in partnership with the Sumner County Anti-Drug Coalition and Sumner County Schools, will host the 2nd Annual C.H.A.M.P. (Character, Honesty, Attitude, Motivation, and Positivity) Summer Camp in June of 2019 for rising 6th through 8th grade students in Sumner County. Selected Sumner County students will attend a week long camp to learn education, team building, and character development, among other activities including a service project.

Owner Jake Mason of Heritage Law Group, PLLC in Gallatin, Tennessee, is supporting the Sumner County Sheriff's Office as a Gold Sponsor in 2019, providing scholarships for ten students to attend the camps.

“I am proud that I live in Sumner county and that we have such an amazing Sheriff’s Office,” states Mason. “When they showed me this program they had created for kids, I immediately knew I needed to support it. This type of extra work, going above and beyond what is required in order to serve others, is what makes the Sumner County Sheriff’s Office so fantastic, and I’m thankful for everything they do for the community.”
